Glendora Epoxy Flooring is a concrete coating and polishing company based in Glendora, CA, with more than 20 years of work behind us. We install epoxy and polyaspartic floors, polish concrete, resurface worn slabs and repair coatings that somebody else installed, on residential garages and on commercial floors that have to keep running while we work.
Two decades in one region is worth something specific here. The slabs in this part of the San Gabriel Valley are mostly post-war, and we have seen how they behave — where they crack, what is under them, and which ones will not take a coating without work first.
Our Approach
Nearly every coating failure is decided before the first coat goes down, so that is where we spend our attention. Every slab is measured for moisture with an in-situ relative humidity probe to the ASTM F2170 method and the reading is written down before any material is ordered, because moisture failure is the one thing almost every coating warranty excludes. The profile is opened mechanically with a diamond grinder to a named ICRI concrete surface profile rather than acid etched, and the coating category is chosen against SCAQMD Rule 1113 limits so the product is legal for the building it is going into.
The rest is scheduling and honesty about what we find. Work is planned against slab temperature rather than the calendar, because pot life on the same product moves sharply between a cool morning and a hot afternoon on a west-facing slab. Hillside driveways get surveyed for access before a date is promised, so the grinder, the dust extraction rig and the truck all reach the bay. Dust is collected at the tool with HEPA extraction, which keeps the job inside the garage instead of across the yard and the cars.
One crew does the whole sequence, from the first grinding pass to the final topcoat, so nobody hands your floor to a subcontractor between the preparation and the finish. Every quote carries a written system specification naming the product, the mil build and the cure schedule, which is what makes two bids genuinely comparable rather than two numbers that quietly describe two different floors. Where the finish matters, flake blends and metallic effects are chosen from a sample laid on your own slab rather than from a chip in a binder under showroom light.
What We Do
We install epoxy garage floors, polyaspartic floor coatings, flake and metallic epoxy systems, and commercial epoxy flooring for shops, kitchens and warehouses. We polish concrete, grind and prepare slabs for other trades, resurface concrete that is too far gone to coat, coat driveways and resurface pool decks, and repair epoxy floors that have failed. If you are not sure which of those your floor actually needs, that is a normal question and the answer usually comes from testing the slab rather than from a catalog.
